Been listening to the old Sonid CD Japanese soundtrack recently while exam revising; The memories are awesome! Any other Videogame soundstracks that people recommend? I usually find a fair bit on http://www.reddit.com/r/gamemusic, I think Miles linked that to me a while ago!
The whole of the Super Meat Boy OST. And more recently, the Dustforce OST. I like Sonic Escape from the City music, to name one from that franchise.
Big fan of all of the Command and Conquer music - I think Frank Klepacki is awesome at creating ambience. Its probably because im a proper fan boy, but I do enjoy the UT soundtracks for the same reason - theyre good ambience, perfect for revision music. I cant do words during revision as they distract me. So instrumental music is awesome I find

I personally like all the Halo soundtracks. Mass Effect, MW1+2 and Dragon Age all also had some really good music in them. There are some awesome tracks in loads of games, but imo the Halo games had the best overall soundtracks.
I'm a massive fan of the Halo Soundtracks; Not sure what they are going to be like for the next series, it is going to be a big ask for them to be as good. I also liked the difference between the Mainstream Halo1/2/3 compared to ODST, and compared to Reach.

I know, it was done by Miles/Oli to piss me off, and since I can't remember root password, nothing I can do since committee members don't have the access.
There's a small number of tracks I would want performed live by an orchestra & choir, and many of those are from the Halo series. Martin Salvatori and Michael O'Donnell did some incredible work. Any favourites in particular?
Want a list...? It might take a while I really like the way through the main trilogy there were recurring themes, but for the extra games they changed the music to fit the individual styles.
Too many to put down to be honest. Its rare that there is a track that I dislike. The ones such as Tip of the Spear, and One Final Effort are awesome, but so are the slower tunes like Wake me when you need me.
