[Oct 18, 2011] SocFed forum and Societies Stupid Tuesday Social (Loughborough, LE11)

Everyone is invited to the SocFed forum to ask questions directly to the SocFed president and committee. This will be from 7pm in SMB till 8pm. (More info will be put up about this nearer the time)

Afterwards the first massive societies social will take place in Fusion for Stupid Tuesday. The theme will be Soc on the Beach!

I saw stupid tuesday and didn't read the other bit

Well ok, so our meeting is at 8 til 9. But still...

Any other benefit of going to the meeting like Queuejump or anything?

Jason said they're going straight to Fusion afterwards I believe (as he said we could get straight in after the airsoft meeting).

The seems to be a double booking of events... this one and the amber rooms social... so whats the game?, which one is happening?

It hasn't been explained very well and there are infact two events in this one event.

Firstly, amber room social is as normal, amber rooms from 8pm till whenever.

Socfed Forum, Socfed is the committee that look after all societies and how they run. If you are interested in this or would like to ask questions to the committee you can turn up. This is from 7pm-8pmish

Socfed Stupid Tuesday, Stupid Tuesday is the societies night, there is a social for all societies, theme is beach wear. This will run from 8pm - 2or3am. Some people usually come to amber rooms for an hour or two (and steak) and then head on over to the stupid Tuesday social.

So all are happening, Amber Rooms is the official social, the socfed forum if you're interested in that, stupid Tuesday if you'd like to go, I'm sure they'll be a few members of compsoc going.

Please note that 8pm until 9pm is also the Airsoft GM for this term and all members should attend. We will be heading for steak afterwards.
