1.02 out, balance changes and game fixes. Shame they enabled tagging of mines and nerfed SCAR. Had a funny situation where I was repairing my tank which came under fire from 2 RPG's, happily sitting there repairing all the damage between the reload times.
Back to Karkhand Expansion us available now. It should already have been downloaded in the last (mahoosive) update. Might have to leave off my coursework for a few hours later for some Karkhand/Oman/Wake Island goodness
Just got a 28-2 with an AA vehicle. They are OP with the AA missiles. Apaches are also OP with double flares, or extinguisher whereby it could possibly survive 4-5 rockets.
nice jet tutorial video, for those who want to fly jets. I just dogfighted for a whole day and my hand hurts On a side note: DONT TRY TO ENGAGE A HELI, not until you are familiar with your cannons, on at least get heat seekers.
Love it when the enemy ditch a chopper on rush when your team has no form of air support. Was on canals and managed to steal a chopper then proceed to destroy the enemy's choppers with it. Just unlocked the 12G frag rounds with USAS-12, mega lolz when you get triple kills with it.
I guess on the canals? yeah.... ppl do this all day....a scout chopper hang around at US base and get away with a ton of kills. In conquest large there are jets so it's no problem IMO, however in rush it's so hard to kill it sometimes. I prefer deploy as support and nail them with my LMG
Im on PStriple so we dont get conquest large Generally prefer playing rush if I'll deploy engineer. If its an aircraft map I'll stinger (ie, wake island rush def) just incase a scrub grabs the AA gun. Grand Bazaar i'll play heavily on the heals, managed one game with 4500-5000 points but only 4 kills. Metro i'll MAV outside then heal inside. MAV's so funny on metro outside, is it possible to road kill a mortar?
I was on PS3 some time ago, and it was a PIA to fly jet/chopper as I cant see a thing from above. I cannot even tell the difference of a rock and a tank at 200m height. Conquest gains points much quicker IMO, I can run across the map, grab 3 flags without seeing anyone, generally because there are not many players in PS3. Grand Bazaar I'll be recon-onece I managed to headshot the guy first pop up in the street, and nobody get near that street eversince. If my teammates couldn't make progress I'll go Assult for grenades, or Engineer for RPG. Both with shotgun btw. No you cannot road kill a mortar, not even with a hmmvee: at least last time I checked, they made a video about it, the hmmvee just go through the motar ...
Yeah it can be hard, especially in jets. I just have to spam the tag button early to make sure. I like it on a few maps, but CQ on say caspian boarder annoys me. Spend ages getting to a flag, to be killed by someone camping. That sucks, I wonder if you can place the MAV infront of the tube so the mortar possibly kills himself and the MAV in the process.
No, I guess the motar shell will go through the MAV, deal damage but continue flying as normal. At least this is what will happen if someone stand in the front of a motar. The shell will go through you and kill you without exploding. For the camping thing, you will know something is not right when you walk into a flag.....Just check some corners by your experiance and put that guy out of his misery. That's why I like explosives--they slaughter campers. I'll say jets and choppers are much much better in PC, longer view range is a huge buff. Meanwhile you get double targets to shoot
